Cancelled provident fund February 2012

I have cancelled my provident fund with Absa February 2012, I have been calling since then up and until now.
Every time you call you on for at least 30 minutes and if you get through they always give you the same story " they are still busy processing it" and you should call again in a week. Voice mail, they don't even get back to you. where is my money and are they being drawing interest on it? I do not know.
all I know is that this is ridiculous and that it can't go on like this.
