12 Year old claim with no proof or paperwork

Hello Peter,

I am being harassed by Credit Worx for a debt that apparently was not paid, I went to Vaal Triangle Technikon 12 years ago and was there for 3 months - the standards were shocking and subsequently they have closed down.
End of last year I start getting sms regarding a so called debt, I cannot get bank statements as my mother paid my fees and she has lived in the UK for 8 years now. I told the consultant when I called if i owe the money please email me correspondence and I haven't received anything from them just threatening sms'. They are hard to get hold of and the consults have no clue!
I have since done my research on prescription debt and they have no claim on me as they have not been in contact for 11 years and the institution is no longer around.
I spoke to a lady at the office and she appologised and said that I am right that it is in prescription and will stop contacting me - this has not happened and I am fed up!
I think it is disgusting that they can threaten to blacklist me but haven't done their research or home work.
How can anyone expect someone to pay a so called debt if they cannot give you proof that it wasnt paid and i cannot supply my financials.
