Temp loan handed to gl inc

Hi, i have a temp loan with fnb. due to unexpected expense, i as unable to pay. i did contact fnb, i as put through to bluff branch. i was told to make a payment of R59 immediatly, then R600. and I did say i was having a problem paying. call was to arrange payment plan. Today i got an sms from gl inc saying it has been handed over to them. i did call and was told i now have to make a payment of R8400, temp loan balance was R6500 . i am very upset with this, fnb could have informed me when i contacted them that it is not possible to make payment arrangements with them to avoid legal action. i am very upset with this, because i now will have a bad credit ref . why does fnb say if loan not paid in time will be charged 2% interest on balance (when instead its handed over and have to now pay almost R2000 more)? why don't they inform or send some sort of notice before handing over? Now im expected to pay R8400 (if paid today), will be higher if take longer... I can not even try and resolve with gl inc, cz im charged R25 if I phone them, R20 if email, R5 for every sms they send, even if they send the same sms more than once. Why does my internet profile still show balance of R6500
