My Samsung S3 was handed into Autopage on the 3rd of August 2013 for an insurance claim due to a broken screen. On 21 August 2013 I received an sms in which I was advised that my Samsung is now at the repair centre and queued for repairs. I phoned the Autopage branch (where I handed my phone in) on the 28/08/2013 asking for an update on my phone. The very efficient assistant called me back after 15 mins advising me that she had just phoned Autopage Insurance (to whom i religiously pay my monthly premiums) who has now advised her that the instructions are to rather replace the phone than to repair them. However now that the S4 is out on the market, the branches are no longer carrying much stock of the S3's anymore... which means that I have to wait ANOTHER 5 - 7 days before I am in possession of a phone again, and Autopage Insurance blindly refuses to issue me with the S4 instead... EVEN THOUGH THERE IS NO PRICE DIFFERENCE in the amount that I am insured for!!! There is absolutely no logic in this thinking!!! I am insured for an amount which is no different from the S3 to the S4... I am a very disgruntled customer!! Where is the client service???
