Ignoring our refund request - passing the buck

We took out a new insurance with King Price one evening on the 14/8/2013 at about 18:30, once they emailed us the contract on the 15/8/2013 I picked up some clauses that I did not like and canceled the insurance with them immediately. We have contacted them and left 5 messages, sent 2 emails on which they only responded on the 16/8/2013 on the 1st email that they will get back to us. The 2nd email was sent on the 26/8/2013 and we are still awaiting a reply.
What pi&&es me off is that they deducted the money before the contract was sent to us then the fine print comes and we cancelled the insurance within 12-hours of taking it out - now it seems like the King has done what all kings do - from the poor, and run away.
