APPROVAL OF LOAN

My name is Nomsa Xaba, I invested R1 000 000.00 in April 2013 with FNB for five years of which I receive R5 600 every month from the money invested, at the moment I have a personal crisis at home I went to FNB to request a loan with them and they told me that I do not qualify, how do I not qualify while I have a million in their bank I'm still shocked that they can't help me. I need clarification on this because I only requested that they loan me R25 000.00 and use the million as surety, how is that not possible?
