No Response to Online Application

I applied for a personal loan online from absa about two weeks ago, have not had a response from them so i called them, spoke to one of their representatives who told me that they didn't receive my online request. he then took my details and said that somebody would call me within 48 hours. it's been a week since then and still nobody has called me as yet.
