Ripping me off

So I am applying for a Dubai and one of the requirment is a letter from the bank stating that I have sufficient funds. I went to standard bank to get this letter and I am totaly disapointed to hear that the bank with charge 65 rands for the letter. What a rip off? Seriously just a letter with my bank saying I have sufficient funds and you charge me R60. Its not making sense to me

After I ased the gentlemen why this charge, he said if I buy forex from Standard bank they will remove the cost. I dont want to buy forex as I can use the mastercard card anywhere in the world where it is accepted. Dubai is developed and mastercard is accepted there so I am not buying forex.

This is a complete rip off. Banks never stop amazing me!!!
