Closure of account - no reaction

Due to continuous poor service I instructed Dinersclub to close my account at the end of 2012. Despite confirming in writing in January 2013 that my account was closed, the account is still open some 7 months later. I have sent numerous e-mails (directly and via their website), but no-one cares to explain this ridiculous behaviour on their part.

How do I get an explanation for their blatant disregard for a simple basic instruction?
