Discovery Insure bad service

I logged a claim last week Monday (22/07/2013) regarding household content that had been. I am very disappointed with the service I have received thus far.
I have to call/ e-mail for feedback.
I have not been update about their procedure or turnaround time.

A validator came out to my premises, on the 30/07/2013. She spent approximately 4 hours speaking about unrelated topics regarding her family and life while I am left to wonder why she did not get all the RELAVANT information after 4 hour.

I was previous insured with Miway and when my car was, it was not such a hard process to deal with validators and process a claim. But with Discovery Insure to claim for a household items it a mission.
I think some of the information they are requesting for, eg: ID numbers of people staying with me, contact names and number of guest, are not relevant. In an Indian community this would just cause conflict between family and friends and that is something I am not willing to do.

If this is the service I am going to receive I rather cancel the policy and find better insurance.
