On 2 July 2013 I went to Absa Montana to make a Once of payment to Nedbank, so that my debit orders can run. I was assisted by Johanna Malebana, who did the transaction, who then informed me that it will go of my account at about 17h00 the same day. On 4 July I discovered that the payment did not go of my account, when I queried this, with Johanna, she called somebody else and I was then assured that this is the first time in the history of Absa, that something like this happened, I was then advised to withdraw the money, they will refund me, and pay it into my Nedbank account. I was charged R 448.75 at Absa, and R 425. 00 for the cash handeling fees, 2 of my debit orders were reveresed from Nedbank side, another charge of R 240. 00, then Absa forced the once off payment on the fourth, another charge of R 36. I went back to them yesterday, because Nedbank wants proof of the transaction, which was done on 2nd, they gave me one which states, not provided for, which was not the case. Then the so called manager of the department came, and her attitute is just, basically, not our problem. I paid a total of R 1149.75 in charges, please supply letter stating the facts & money back!
