Inadequate Information and bad Service

We were recommended by a friend to contact the above mentioned insurance company. We asked for a quote which was eventually sent. We agreed with the terms and they contacted us on a daily basis to sign the contract. They were eventually being a nuisance with the constant harassment to sign the contract.
We were good enough to harass and when we eventually started the process they asked us if we had been under debt counsellings, we confirmed yes and he said would revert to us. It took umpteen emails form us to find out what has transpired only to be told they could not insure us. Surely that is a question that should be asked upfront and then you know where you stand have no expectations of a cheaper good insurance, but maybe in hindsight if that's the service offered would be much safer to stay away. We had recommended others to call but now have warned of bad service and lack of info and will refrain from further recommendations
