Ridiculous service

I've been with mutual and federal for the past past year and haven't claimed anything. Today i called in because there's a scratch, I'm not sure if someone bumped into me or maybe when someone passed and scratched it with something. Spoke to their consultant and she say's I need to pay 2750 for access. I mean this is ridiculous, i will cancel my insurance with them and tell everyone never to ensure with them. I mean R2750 I could fix it myself, whats the point of having insurance.
