How long do you take to process a claim

I was involved in a vehicle accident were i was rammed by a regent client who was 100% at fault by his own admission and the witnesses on the scene, he then pledged to sort out the matter as soon as possible due to the nature of my job as i use the vehicle daily, this happened on the 6th of June till today there has been no resolution to this case but the regent client's vehicle is up and running, am i being treated in this manner because I'm not a client or is this the treatment everyone gets, very disappointing
