I've been banking with Standard bank since 2009 for my business, never got my business statements even once. Have reported this matter several times and updated my postal address but still no success. I ended up changing branches thinking I was gonna get better service but still the same treatment. A month ago I went to westgate mall branch and spoke to the business manager who promised to solve the matter for me, even gave me a reference numbe. A week later I received a call from him saying he can help me cause the bank wants me to pay for them - R4500, not forgetting that one of my benefits includes me getting my statements free of charge via email or postal address which neither has happened. Went back to my old branch Maponya Mall and and opened two more businesses accounts which I'm still waiting for my cheque cards and cheque books 3 weeks later mind u! Last week Tuesday I spoke to the Maponya Branch manager regarding my statements since 2009, of which she promised to get back to me the same day with an answer on when to collect cause they had to request them to be printed since the bank can only print as far as 6 months. Still waiting patiently
