I make the following report to Margaret my "personal banker" shortly after eight this morning: Although I have a positive balance in my account and did not deposit any cheques for a long time, I am unable to make transfers or payments out of the account because " of insufficient funds". I need to make urgent payments. People are waiting for payments as we speak. It is embarrassing because it seems to my clients that I do not have funds available to make a small payment.

2 hours later she still has to come back to me. She does not answer her phone. The lady at reception tells me that Margaret does not answer her phone and there is a lot of complaints about that. The manager Randall is not able to give me an explanation why Margaret is never available. When he walks to her office she is "on the line with the call centre" I still do not have an answer and have to continue making excuses for not paying the people who are waiting in my reception area.

The impression I get: WE DO NOT CARE!
