Debted more money then agreed out of my account

I agreed to a R500 debit per month absa then decided to debit my account with R1900 and they refuse to give the difference back. At no point did I authorise that amount. Can they just do that? Also when I contacted them the lady Ester dealing with the account says she isn't mandate to refund me and gave me her teamleaders no. I spoke to her at 9:20 on the 8th and she took my account no down and said she will call me back immediately. At 10:30 I called again and she wasn't available. I phoned again at 12:30 and left another msg. A Jabu calls back at 12:40 saying she's calling on behalf of Olivia and also says that a refund isn't possible after I'm explaining I can't afford to pay them the R1900, I then asked to speak to Olivia andwas told to hold on the line at held on till 13:05 wherby she comes back and says Olivia has gone to lunch after I have been holding on since 12:40. How the. Is that what absa service has gone to. First they take more then agreed and then they can't even call back after they said they will then they make you hold for 20 mins or longer just to tell you the person has now gone on lunch. I believe all the calls are recorded and would like someone to list
