INCREASE IN PREMIUM WITH NO NOTICE

I was insured with Santam until last week Tuesday, when they took it upon themselves to increase my premium from R429 to R716 (plus pro-rata for the month of May 2013) so merrily went and debited my husband's account with R987, 00 when we were expecting R429, 00 to go off.

I immediately made enquiries and was informed because I moved from Baynesfield, KZN to Zinkwazi KZN my premium had increased by over R300 plus the pro - rata for May. Needless to say I cancelled my policy with immediate effect and demanded a refund, only to be told that the refund takes up to 30 days to take place.

What a lot of nonsense that is!!! they were quick to take my money but take their time to pay it back!!!

I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!
