African Bank staff not doing there jo

I have had a loan with African Bank before I got retrenched, I filled out all the insurance forms and was told that the insurance would settle my account. then more than a year later African Bank wanted to deduct money from my bank account which I phoned them and went to the branch. no joy as to the staff does not care. I phoned several times and got hold of head office which informed me that more than 50% of my loan was paid and that the insurance would settle the last amount. on the 29/06/2013 I received a sms stating I owe them R9936-00
how the do you come to this amount. please get some one that knows what they are doing with accounts. stop being cowards and phone me instead of stupid sms's. I an really fed up with this now. Ref 8246411001
