I called into the call center, spoke to Kayba. According to Standard Bank the amount requested is more than the value of the property. As per Standard Bank the value is R900000, I bought the place for R870000. I am in possession of two independant assessments which place the current value at R930000 and the highest estimate at R1100000.
According to Kayba, the estimators went out to the property to evaluate it. The property is access controlled, no-one contacted me to gain access to the property. So Standard Bank as to how they get to their figures!
I have requested a copy of their assessment (s), which will take 5 working days to email to me. In this day and age of technology, I find this laughable.
Standard Banks "dont make your problem mine" is leaving a bad taste in my mouth.
To apply again I have to repeat the entire process again.
