Louis F Hattingh
Runs out in the middle of the night

We rented a flat to Louis F Hattingh, part of the terms were that he would pay for the telephone usage of his from home practise. He is a 53 year old white man, practising as a tax practitioner, whom continually speaks of & his religion. Being honest people, renting to someone who seemed to be above board, operating in a position which requires you to be "fit & proper" we thought we were safe.

Mr LF Hattingh would tinker in our garden & wash the vehicles, all of which he claimed he did because he enjoyed it - never at our request! In fact we continually advised him that he need not do it as we have staff that would attend to it & the cleaning of his unit, which he declined.

Mr LF Hattingh racked up over R2000 in telephone accounts & owed us for 5 nights accommodation when he disappeared in the middle of the night.

We have tried to settle this matter with him & he is now just refusing to pay & wanting to counter-claim for his "cleaning" services.

This is a warning to all not to trust Mr LF Hattingh (Professional Accountant, Member of IOD, Registered SARS Tax Practitioner, Regular talker on radio 702 - according to him on his e-mails) whom is operating in the PTA area
