I called the call centre for settlement quote on 06/06/2013, got reference 9442628 for my credit card and Ref no 9442615, for my loan, i was advised it is due for 7 days, i then paid on the 12th june 2013, advised them to close the account, i was told to wait 7 days for paid up letter since the credit card letter wont be available immidiately.i then called again and was told my debit is still active and the adivsed they will change method of payment and request closer while i wait for 7 to 14 days to receive the letter. i called today and the agent tells me the is interest charged on the account, i need to pay. i told him he is mad, all i called for was my paid up letter since i was promised it will be done in 7 days. African bank has the worst custoner service i had ever experienced. the agent have different stories for each call and they dont have product knowledge. all i want is my paid up for both my account. i am of this spaza shop bank. you need to review your values... i would rate you 1 when it comes to effectiveness and custome service. please i want my letters today.
