Other banks walks the extra mile not ABSA

Since February we are battling to get Absa to assist us. We experienced a tremor and due to that our ceiling cracked. Because Absa decided that due to the mining industry it is not them to fix the ceiling. Surely they send out their assessors to evaluate the house to the area you live. Firstly is took them months to respond to a No We Will Not Repair. We are now in a house where the roof could cave in and they just do not care. They challenge us to go to the ombudsman and also send a letter that they are sorry but it is up to us to repair. Why insure with Absa. Other banks really go the extra mile.
