I called first for women to enquire about a reduction on my vehicle insurance premium. A customer services agent, Mpho informed me the reason my premium was high was probably due to the fact that I did not have a glasfit inspection done and advised me to have this done asap. I asked her to confirm this was required as the car was brand new at the time of insuring it. She checked with her manager & confirmed yes this was a requirement. She then confirmed details of the policy & informs me, to my horror, I do not have comprehensive cover, only 3rd party cover. I have had comprehensive cover with first for women since 2009 and updated the policy with details of a brand new car in Sept 2012 so could not understand why the cover changed. She transferred me to Ashley Moodley who informed me this was not necessary and updated my policy accordingly. He was also able to reduce my premium by R400 :-) I would like to thank Mpho and Ashley for the professional manner in which they handled my call. A special thanks to Ashley for saving me time and money.
