A week ago my wife was in a car accident, were it clearly wasnt her fault, as stated by the police report were the other driver took full responsibility. Friday morning 14 June i recieved a call from Outsurance that my car is a wright off. Claim 98549438. This morning i recieved a call from outsurance that i will recieve about R20k less on my car than what i had it ensured for 3 years ago. I clearly stated when i took up this insurance that i whant the car ensured for x amount. No were did i give anybody permision to insure it agains retail value. Strangely in the last 3 years my premiums went up. So for 3 years i paid a high premium for a low payout rate. Please explain to me how i do pay these high premiums everymonth, feeling confident im properly covered and then claim day comes, sorry sir, you only covered for retail value!!!
I have subsequintly canceled my insurance with you imediatly and Santam Insurance brokers accepted me with open arms, even at a lower premium than what i recieved from you lot. Absolutely disgusted!!!
