Misleading advertising

I was unpleasantly surprised to learn that the discount of "up to 20%" for purchases at Incredible Connections using the Discovery credit card are factually incorrect and actually misleading. The terms and conditions are only partially explained in the website and were only provided after I queried the cash back payment (which happened to be about 8% of the amount spent (and not even close to the 20% advertised). I must add that I am on the Diamond status and at worst should have received up to 15% of the amount I spent as cash back. What Discovery Card do not inform the public is that the 20 % is actually a percentage of a percentage of the total spend for the month. What worries me is that if one reads the T&Cs, it is actually impossible to receive the 20% that is publicised even though the adverts claim "UP TO 20%" can be received.
