I cancelled my life insurance policy with Absa Bank Life @ Ease last month, and took out a new life policy. On the 14th of June I received a call from Avril Moor asking for my banking details, as there was money due from the old policy. I phoned Avril Moore on 17th June and was told it would be paid in today 20th June, but it has not. I have sent 4 emails to the retentions department, which handles this, and have not received a single reply. This seems to be a recurring theme with ABSA bank - they never reply to emails! I presume the money is coming from an ABSDA account, to my ABSA account, so why the delay, and why do they not reply to email?
