Bad attitude from Ruth at ABSA Home loans

Good morning.

Yesterday I was helped by a Lady named Ruth at ABSA, home loans department.

I called in to try and arrange for a payment arrangement for my home loan as I had applied to go to NCR in March, and I canclled it Last month; 30th May 2013.

I was informed yesterday that my name has been cleard from debt review at absa as I had been caling as from the 30th May, then finally all was well, up until I spoke to Ruth.

Credit card managed to help me without any hustle and when I called Home loans, it was as if Ruth did not want to hear my story. She told me that my status still showed that I am under debt review and when I tried to tell her that I had just spoken to Lungile Mguni and he reassured me that I may call all relevant departments to make my arrangements, and if I encounter any problem, they must call him as he is internal at absa, she did not want to hearmy story and insisted that i call today, 12 June 2013.

I then requested her to confirm her name to me, of which she did, and when I asked her what her surname was, she told me that "It doesn't matter", then I askedher to say that again and she did not hesitate to say it again...(continuing on the next report.)
