I am leaving for overseas today and will be out o contact for two weeks. I applied to raise my credit limit on MY form i put the limit up to R20, 000.00, I then couple of days later get an email which says please fill in the form and send us bank statements. I check the form and the form say R31000.00??? Where on my document was that amount? I send and email back and say '' please correct your figure and send form back'' this was on the 28th of May. I hear nothing. On the 04th of June i send ANOTHER email... I get a phone call from a consultant. He says ''just SCRATCH out the R31, 000 and put R20, 000'' Surely this leads to? Surely the credit act doesn't allow you to just up peoples limits especially if they requested a certain limit?? I can understand the form saying you have been approve for your R20, 000.00 but please take note we are willing to approve you for more. I am shocked at discovery's practise here!
