I was advised by FNB to make payment arrangements for my FNB Credit Card at a branch near me.
I spent the better part of my Monday at the bank, only to be told they cant help me I have to contact their call centre.
After almost an hour on hold I finally got through.
I requested to make payments via EFT and that all debits between my cheque and credit account be suspended, which I was assured more that once it was.
Yet today, after making my EFT payment as promised I saw that they debited everything from my account!

I contacted the call centre again to reverse it, and to enquire why after having made an arrangement, this was ignored.
The agent was very rude and wouldn't help me at all!
For a bank whose slogan is "How can we help you", you really are NOT helpful at all!

I expect to be refunded the amount debited immediately as I made good on my promise to make an EFT payment.
I would also like to know what is the point of making arrangements if they aren't adhered to!!
