Received call to extend policy Oct 2012. Verbally indicated to consultant that Mr Ferreira wished to continue his policy for next 10 yrs. Consultant asked for letter to be sent to confirm request. Wrote extension letter. Mr Ferreira sign on Nov 9 and Email letter to OM. Nov 12, Nicole Jacobs (0860506070 [Email Removed] acknowledged receipt of letter&commit to send it for processing. Mr Ferreira passed away 24 Nov. Mrs Ferreira Visit OM at 506 Pretorius str. OM informs her policy hasn't been updated. They offered R23000 instead of R100000 that policy is worth. Dec 6 Informed Nicole that Mr Ferreira passed away. Dec 7 Nicole requests death cert and ID to process claim. Dec 7 Supplied Nicole with required docs. Dec 10 Followed up with Nicole. She said claim is with processing dpt. Dec 20, laid official complaint of poor service with Nicole Re processing claim. Francois Viljoen calls us [Email Removed] to see if we happy with OM's service. No constructive feedback received. Handed OM over to OM Claim estate attorneys in Apr 2013. Enquiry on the policy shows its not listed in the OM system. The Policy is missing. What do we do now? No policy. No payment!
