Direct Axis
Early debiting of my account

Business & Finance

I am extremely irritated that for the SECOND time you have deducted money off my account before the due date - and more importantly, before my salary was deposit. This is merely greed. This month, my payday falls on Sunday which means that all of my other debit orders will go off my account on Monday night. As far as I know, banks are supposed to get random access to funds as they arrive in an account. Why do you always have to ensure that you get your money first - and this time by deducting the amount 2 days early? Literally the minute I moved money into my account, your debit was deducted, meaning that you were tracking it early. Because of you, my account went into an overdrawn state the previous time you did this, meaning that I am still trying to remedy my account's standing 4 months later. This is not fair. I remember at the time of contracting, mentioning that I would prefer to have my debit orders run a day or two after pay day to ensure that I didn't have this situation when my payday falls on the weekend - but I was not given that option. Surely this goes against my rights as a consumer? Check the tape if you don't believe me!
