I am a Platinum card holder with FNB and I have lodged previous complaints and this is what happens, someone calls you back but with an attitude of sorry you had to complaint, I don't actually want to help you but I have to call you back. I applied for a credit card and they keep on declyning it, I have no accounts in arrears, only a few accounts that were paid a bit late, but never a month gone past that the accounts weren't paid. Here is the funny story, FNB will approve me for R80 000.00 personal loan but not for a credit card, when I ask the people who gives me this feedback if it makes sense then they give you all kinds of ridiculous feedback like system feedback, different criteries of grading for different credit application etc. but they can't give you a logic answer. When I asked how I can cancel my accounts they were so quick to advise on procedures, not even once did they ever ask me that I mustn't cancel my accounts, why I asked myself, because they don't give a damm about me as a client. Their consultants can't make logic desicions, if you want to speak to a manager they are never available, this is really the poorest service and experiance I've ever had in my life!
