20 per PAGE to export bankstatements???

We are doing the finances for a company and as they are very behind we need to catch up from 1 March 2011.

We requested the bankstatements for 1 March 2011 - 28 Feb 2013, exported in Excel or CSV to enable us to import this into the accounting system. The banker told us the cost will be R20 per PAGE (not statement) and each statement has about 90 pages.

How do you justify charging R43 200 to export bankstatements?? Nothing has to be printed, you have a system that can do the export so seriously Standard Bank, this is absolutely ridiculous.
