I was invloved in an accident and robbed of my personal belongings at the scene. The insurance settled the bank less that my outsanding amount. The response to this what the retail value assesment was done at that amount. It was explained that the retail value is what the dealers would sell the car for. I have done a quick search and found that the dealers selling my car at more than virgin insurance assesment. As a reasonable person and owner of two cars i was overwhelmed when the insurance agent sold in his words a comphrensive insurance at the retail value of the car, explaining that this was the best.. I appeal to virgin insurance to be more customer centric and really look from the point of view that when selling insurance to the reasonable men telling him its the best, that they make should really keep to their word. In these economic turmoil that we as consumers find ourselfs in, we can go by the word of a company that spends alot of money in branding it as a Company of its Word.
