NO RESPONSE TO DEBT PROTECTION PLAN

I have the Top up balance protection plan on my FNB Gold Credit card. As of the end of April I was retrenched.
I sent in a claim on the 2nd of May. It was faxed from the FNB Olympus Branch. I haven't received any confirmation of the receipt claim or the process to follow to ensure that the insurance kick in.
I have tried numerous times to get through to FNB Life, but each time I am informed that there are high call volumes and I am then advised to email/fax or leave a message. I have done all of the above with no response/reply up till now. My husband has even e-mailed his personal banker asking for assistance yet still no answers.

I would just like some information/feedback on whether it was received and how long it takes to process a claim.
By the end of the month I would be expected to pay my monthly installment if this claim is not submitted and processed which would be difficult seeing that I was retrenched which would also defeat the purpose of having this insurance.
