Extreme confusion!

I paid off all my accounts and closed it after recieving letters stating the settlement amount. I requested letters confirming my accounts have been closed and my balance is R0 which I recieved after a loooong struggle. Afterwards I was told on more than 2 occasions that my Credit card would be refunded after closing it, in 5 working days. I phoned back after 5 working days and was told that it would take another 7 working days. I phoned back again just to be told that I am now in arrears on my loan account and the credit card refund will now be taken to pay the outstanding loan account which- they claim was reversed by me in March. I did not reverse any payments in March and have my bank statements to prove it. I contacted the call centre on several occasions concerning this and have not been assisted AT ALL. I have send e-mails, left messages on the phone for Consumer Advocate line many times as well with absolutely no feedback! I am still waiting for the refund on my credit card and am not at all sure if my accounts have been settled and if I will be billed in future again for something I am unaware of!
