Standard Bank take to long to process payments

Good Day
Surely it's time for me to change to another bank. In December, I had to purchases on my Elite Account, which totalled to R 1'784.18.00. Being the festive season, and with salaries being paid earlier than usual for many bankers, managing your accounts take much more effort than usual. Standard Bank took 21 Days (almost a month) to process some of my payments. I'm sure that the bank has some responsibility to make sure, that purchases get paid in good time.
Could I please have some answers from my bank?
