HUGE Delays in settling legitimate claims!!!

I thought that I might be the only one, but reading through Hello Peter this evening, there are TONS of complaints about Prime Meridian and their lack of Customer Service!!! Prime Meridian is very quick to accept your monthly payments, but when it comes to paying out, they search and search and search for the most miniscule reasons as to why they cannot pay you out! It is now NINE WEEKS since I first claimed, and still no joy, only one excuse after another! I submitted ALL documentation upon making my claim, such as CT Scans, Admission and Discharge Forms, ECG Tests, Doctors Reports etc. etc. They then wanted my hospital records, for which I had to pay R273.00. When I lodged a complaint with Amanda Chaka's Supervisor, I get an e-mail saying thay my claim had been settled, and that they had enough proof to warrant me being paid out. That was on 05/04/2013, and STILL NO PAYOUT. Now Amanda states that I COULD'NT AFFORD the R273.00! What a cheek and insult! You also claim that I never disclosed a pre-exisiting ailment on my application form. I was in hospital 5 years ago for a DVT which was cured, now I was in Hospital for Gallstones and a Heart Condition!!! PATHETIC! PATHETIC!
