I settled my account in May 2012 which was handed over to Creditworx. After much hussle I received a paid up later and thought everything was hunky dorey. To my surprise last week when I tried to apply for a homeloan it was decliened due to this account. When I investigated the credit bureau told me that the account is still appearing and no documents (court order to rescind the debt) was submitted to them. The nightmare began when I contacted them, these days they dont answer their phone but they ask you to leave a voice message. I spoke to Fatima who promised to speak to Experian thereafter come back to me. Needless to say she has not and I am worried that I will lose the house due to their incompetence. If the latter happens I will refer the matter to the ombudsman also and claim damages. Velele
