Bad service, Ignorance, neglect!!!

I am completely disgusted with the service I received at Absa bank today. When closing my cheque account and credit card, I was not informed of a R30 internal transfer charge on a transaction to pay a closing balance on these accounts. The lady assisting at the information desk was not helpful at all. The ridiculous closing amounts of R3 and R43 was to be transferred from my savings account which I've kept. I was then informed by the teller that another R6 was due. Upon settling the accounts and closing the cheque account, I was told to return to the information desk in order to phone the credit card department to close the credit card. I held on for 20 minutes before being told by the lady who finally answered, that there was nobody in the closure department available but she would send them a mail so they would phone me back. Needless to say nobody did. To make matters worse, after I asked the woman at information to leave my internet banking as is, she closed it, leaving me unable to access my savings account. I am horrified at the service level these Absa employees presented. I can clearly see why more people are closing their accounts.
