I requested a settlement amount for my credit card. I then proceeded to pay, emailed all relevant documents also asking for the account to be closed with immediate effect and requested written confirmation thereof. A week has since passed and i heard nothing so i contacted them directly, only to be told the payment is reflecting but the account is active and has a R52 balance on it. I refuse to pay this as i settled the account and requested it to be closed.

Please can this be sorted out urgently.
