Still waiting for a refund from Groupon

This is the second time I have had to resort to writing a complaint on HelloPeter to try and get a response from Groupon with regards to the refund for a charter on Hakuna Matata for four people on New Year's Eve which I cancelled in good time.

After the appallingly bad customer service and lack of response from Groupon, I eventually received an email saying that Groupon would refund my payment of R1980, 00. I only received a 50% refund from Groupon which only covers one of the two charters which I had booked and paid for.

I was advised on the 7th January 2013 by Shouneez Williams that my refund of R1980, 00 would be credited to my credit card within 3 to 5 working days. Well, so far I have only received 50% of this refund.

What are you playing at Groupon SA? Do you really want to blacken your name any further by continuing to play games with your customers resulting in even poorer customer service. If I don't get the remaining 50% back within 3 working days I will be lodging a case with the Consumer Protection Act authorities. Being the owner of a small business I know and understand this Act very well.

An EXTREMELY angry and dissatisfied FORMER customer.
