Groupon fails to respond to complaints - TWICE!?

A group of friends and I bought a coupon for a 'luxurious' spa treatment for 4 in April through Groupon. 2 friends used theirs in May and what they experienced was nothing close to what was advertised - the treatment was not as long as advertised, refreshments advertised not available, amateur 'technicians', it was ridiculous.

We decided to complain and request a refund for the other 2 coupons. After contacting the supplier and having no joy whatsoever, I contacted Groupon, spoke to a Nathan Platjies who asked me to mail him the details of the complaint. He acknowledged receipt of my mail and said he would 'escalate' to the supplier and come back to me. That was May 28.

Last week (July 19) I again contacted Groupon and spoke to a Natasha Mars who, like Nathan, was sympathetic to my problem and informed me that Nathan had left the company. She mailed me and asked that I again send her the details, which I did.

Still no reply or feedback. Groupon are seemingly not concerned with suppliers advertising falsely, and 2 months after my initial complaint I still wait for feedback, never mind my refund!? My 1st and last time using Groupon South Africa!
