I bought a deal but the supplier then closed down and Groupon claimed they refunded me even after 5 weeks of checking with my bank confirmed that they hadn't. After 20 emails and 5 phone calls they confirmed that there was a problem and asked for my bank statement confirming that the re-fund had not been made, I haven't heard from them since.

It's now been 2 weeks since my statement was sent through. I've emailed them about 5 times and even contacted the head Groupon in the US/Canada but they say they can't help, I must contact the SA Groupon.

Prior to this incident, I bought something on Groupon which they conveniently deducted TWICE off my card. Also claimed that it had been reversed but only after many emails and phone calls did they actually reverse it. Needless to say that my subscription to Groupon has been canceled but that doesn't get my money back unfortunately.
