I took advantage of a 51% saving through Groupon and Pizza Del Forno in Northcliff today for Mothers' Day, and was so disappointed that I vowed never to use Groupon again. While I understand that Groupon cannot be held responsible for poor service at their partners, I do feel that they should know that it leaves a bad taste in my mouth that I'll always associate with Groupon.

Surely this is no way to grow either of the two brands or businesses? Does Groupon ever check the quality of the experience that they're offering their clients? If so, then they're either being misled or are misleading the public as this is now the second time that I've had an unsatisfactory experience with one of their partners. Inevitably, I'm treated as if I'm a huge inconvenience and am given little to no service or customer satisfaction. The final result or service or 'saving' has been very lack lustre too.

In future I'll rather pay the money that I would have saved for an experience that will live on as a good memory and not a bitter disappointment.
