So dissapointed with the lack of service that we are receiving from Travel Quest.
After sending numerous emails since November 2012, our complaint has still not been resolved.
We booked accomodation for the Umhlanga Cabanas. On checking in, we realised that there was no water and you could not flush the toliet, have a shower, or make up bottles for my 6 week old daughter.
We were informed only after checking in that there was a major burst pipe at the front of the complex and there was no water.
Obviously due to non-hygienic conditions, and having a small baby, we could not stay in a room.
We had no other option and had to book accomodation for the night elsewhere.
We asked the Umhlanga Cabanas to phone us as soon as the pipe was fixed so that we could go back there, as staying in different accomodation has an added expense which we had no planned for.
The pipe was not fixed for the entire week of our trip and we could not return to the Umhlanga Cabanas
We immediately contacted Travel Quest to sort this probelm and was told that there were filling an insurance claim and would get back to us regarding a possible refund. To date we have still heard nothing
