For the first time in about 3 years, My wife, my 1 and a half year old son and I decided to take a break and chose Gariep as our destination for a well deserved holiday. I phoned the front office and spoke to Aldine who assisted in making a booking for three nights.

We arrived late and got the key from the security guard. Our 2 sleaper charlet right at the edge of the lodge, with the dam stretching our right infront of us.

The next morning I noticed that the toilet were blocked. I phoned the front office and spoke to Aldine again. Within 30 minutes the maintenance team plunged the toilet. On our last day she and Fanie came t see us of and she noticed that there is a problem again.By herself she organised with maintenance standby to resolve the problem even when off duty.

Hereafter I realised that Aldine's department is more in group bookings and conferences. What a girl! Hope she gets recognition.
