My daughter who resides in the UK booked and paid for a ticket from Jhb to Capetown by card, which was cancelled, .. and seemingly not refunded. and I have a whole line of e mails to show the various stages, since early Feb, of non events and ducking and jiving between the various mango departments.
They insist they have refunded her, but in none of her accounts either here or in the UK, .. does it reflect. But the deduction does..
I have a mail from them stating that they will refund, earlier this week, and then she was sent a sms/bbm, to the effect that there will be no refund, as it is sorted according to them, and more or less telling her .. now go away..! Their attitude really amazes me, as there seems to be very little empathy or assistance for the customer, and maybe because of their size and backing feel they have the right to treat people like imbeciles.
I would really appreciate, on her behalf some of your most enviable assistance with this matter, it is not a huge sum. but, more the principle of being able to admit there was no refund, and credit her for the amount.
I have writted to mango earlier this morning, and am still waiting for any response, ..
