Second Honeymoon becomes a Nightmare Trip

We saw a cruise from Genoa to Cape Town that would coincide with our 38th wedding anniversary. The highlight a stop at Morocco where my wife has wanted to visit for years.
In April we booked and paid for flights, a hotel stay for three days in Genoa and our Cruise for 17 Days on the MSC Opera. We were told that all I needed was a shengen visa, my wife traveled with a British passport.
Gateway botched our cruise packages.
On boarding the ship we were advised that we had to have a yellow fever inoculation, we were not allowed to get off the boat at Dakar.
I was not allowed to get off at Morroco, I did'nt have a visa.
What a disaster, I could not feel free to see my wife go alone in Morocco.
The boss of Gateway recons I had a holiday I should be grateful. I wonder how long he has been married,
